I'll dominate 'serious boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.

Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Fighter

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
