It's a batch prepared mix that is packed full of flavours of the holiday season, making it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Save the extra syrup you can use for brunch beverages, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.

Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g caster sugar
To make the Drink (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Combine the listed ingredients into a saucepan, bring to a gentle boil, stirring until the sugar dissolves. After that, turn off the stove allowing it to cool entirely. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for around one month.
To make Premix: Mix every spirits and syrup into a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through muslin, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml from the batch mix into your stirring glass packed with ice, and stir lightly for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries and complete it with a light spray with the mandarin essence over the top.
